Objetivamos ampliar as visões sobre os acontecimentos, conectando elementos de macro e micro história, utilizando as fontes oficiais em contraste com algumas trajetórias individuais e com o que já foi escrito na historiografia piauiense, demonstrando a multiplicidade de projetos envolvidos nas independências. De modo mais amplo, objetivamos uma cartografia dos contextos que permitiram a indivíduos em espaços coloniais portugueses experimentar transformações políticas, sociais e culturais através de práticas sediciosas que tomaram o rumo separatista. Utilizaremos para isso as fontes disponíveis no Arquivo Público do Estado do Piauí, no Arquivo Histórico Ultramarino e no Arquivo Digital da Torre do Tombo, buscando novas perspectivas capazes de conectar sujeitos, suas influências e suas reações às configurações do século XIX. ABSTRACT Considering the political context of the independence process in Piauí throughout the 1820s, the present study seeks to understand the relationships built by subjects such as Leonardo da Senhora das Dores Castello-Branco, João Cândido de Deus e Silva, Simplício Dias da Silva, Manuel de Sousa Martins, João José da Cunha Fidié, among others, the bases for the construction of his political thoughts, observing in the transit of ideas the adaptations that provided the construction of the independence movements at the local level. We aim to expand the views on the events, connecting elements of macro and micro history, using official sources in contrast with some individual trajectories and with what has already been written in Piauí historiography, demonstrating the multiplicity of projects involved in the independences. More broadly, we aim at a cartography of the contexts that allowed individuals in Portuguese colonial spaces to experience political, social and cultural transformations through seditious practices that took the separatist path. For this, we will use the sources available in the Public Archive of the State of Piauí, in the Arquivo Histórico Ultramarino and in the Digital Archive of Torre do Tombo, seeking new perspectives capable of connecting subjects, their influences and their reactions to the configurations of the 19th century.ptPreprint
