dc.description.abstractRESUMO O objetivo com este trabalho foi avaliar a qualidade de silagens de ração em mistura total (RMT) contendo Pornunça (Manihot. sp) como fonte de forragem, através, da composição química, características fermentativas e microbiológicas, estabilidade aeróbia e degradabilidade ruminal “in situ” (DEG) da matéria seca (MS) e da fibra insolúvel em detergente neutro (FDN). O delineamento experimental foi o delineamento inteiramente casualizado com cinco repetições. Os tratamentos consistiram em quatro silagens de RMT em diferentes relações volumoso: concentrado (V:C) 50:50; 60:40; 70:30; 80:20, e uma silagem constituída de 100% de Pornunça (100:0). Para a avaliação da DEG da MS e FDN, foram utilizados dois ovinos adultos canulados no rúmen para incubação em diferentes tempos (6, 12, 24, 48, 72 e 96 h). Os valores de pH variaram de 4,39 a 4,44 (P<0,001). As concentrações dos ácidos lático e propiônico foram maiores nas silagens com 50:50 e 60:40. A silagem com relação com 70:30 apresentou maior perda por gases (PG = 132,6 g/kg MS), enquanto a silagem com 50:50 apresentou menor PG (76,8 g/kg MS). As perdas por efluentes (PE) foram maiores nas silagens com 80:20 e 100:0 (23,60 e 25,60 kg/t matéria verde; MV) e menor (5,95 kg/t MV) na silagem com 50:50, fazendo com que esta silagem apresentasse maior recuperação da MS (916,5 g/kg). Aos 90 dias de ensilagem não foi detectada presença de leveduras na silagem com 60:40. As silagens não apresentaram quebra de estabilidade aeróbica após 96 horas de exposição ao ar. A concentração de MS das silagens diminuiu à medida que aumentou a participação da Pornunça, com valores variando de 352,5 a 217,1 g/kg MN para as silagens com 50:50 e 100:0, respectivamente. A concentração de proteína bruta (PB) da silagem com 80:20 (204,3 g/kg MS) foi superior às silagens com 50:50 (183,1 g/kg MS) e 100:0 (185,5 g/kg MS), não deferindo das com 60:40 e 70:30. A silagem 50:50 apresentou maior concentração de carboidratos não fibrosos (477,1 g/kg MS). Dessa forma, a silagem com 50:50 apresentou maior valor de NDT (742,3 g/kg MS), maior fração solúvel (535,8 g/kg MS) e maiores DEG efetivas da MS; resultado inverso foi verificado para a silagem com 100:0. A ensilagem na forma de ração em mistura total contendo Pornunça (Manihot sp.) como fonte de forragem proporciona melhorias na qualidade fermentativa e no valor nutritivo comparado a silagem de Pornunça. ABSTRACT The objective of this work was to evaluate the quality of silage feed in total mixture (RMT) containing Pornunça (Manihot. sp) as a forage source, through chemical composition, fermentative and microbiological characteristics, aerobic stability and rumen degradability "in situ". ” (DEG) of dry matter (DM) and neutral detergent insoluble fiber (NDF). The experimental design was a completely randomized design with five replications. Treatments consisted of four silages of RMT in different roughage ratios: concentrate (V:C) 50:50; 60:40; 70:30; 80:20, and a silage consisting of 100% Pornunça (100:0). For the evaluation of the DEG of DM and NDF, two adult sheep cannulated in the rumen for incubation at different times (6, 12, 24, 48, 72 and 96 h) were used. pH values ranged from 4.39 to 4.44 (P<0.001). The concentrations of lactic and propionic acids were higher in silages with 50:50 and 60:40. The silage with a 70:30 ratio showed the highest gas loss (PG = 132.6 g/kg DM), while the silage with a 50:50 ratio showed the lowest PG (76.8 g/kg DM). Effluent losses (EP) were higher in silage with 80:20 and 100:0 (23.60 and 25.60 kg/t green matter; MV) and lower (5.95 kg/t MV) in silage with 50 :50, making this silage present a higher DM recovery (916.5 g/kg). At 90 days of ensiling, the presence of yeasts was not detected in the silage with 60:40. The silages did not show a break in aerobic stability after 96 hours of exposure to air. The DM concentration of silages decreased as the participation of Pornunça increased, with values ranging from 352.5 to 217.1 g/kg MN for silages with 50:50 and 100:0, respectively. Crude protein (CP) concentration of silage with 80:20 (204.3 g/kg DM) was higher than silage with 50:50 (183.1 g/kg DM) and 100:0 (185.5 g/ kg DM), not differing from those with 60:40 and 70:30. The 50:50 silage showed the highest concentration of non-fiber carbohydrates (477.1 g/kg DM). Thus, the 50:50 silage showed the highest TDN value (742.3 g/kg DM), the highest soluble fraction (535.8 g/kg DM) and the highest effective DEG of DM; The opposite result was verified for silage with 100:0. Ensiling in the form of a total mixture containing Pornunça (Manihot sp.) as a forage source provides improvements in fermentative quality and nutritional value compared to Pornunça silage.pt_BR
