MINISTÉRIO PÚBLICO E ACCOUNTABILITY: UMA ANÁLISE DA ATUAÇÃO EXTRAJUDICIAL DO MINISTERIO PUPLICO DO ESTADO DO PIAUI (2015-2018)

Resumo
RESUMO:A presente pesquisa propôs identificar o perfil de atuação do Ministério Público do Estado do
Piauí na sua atuação extrajudicial, utilizando os instrumentos extraprocessuais previstos na
legislação, no período de 2015 a 2018, a fim de verificar se sua atuação é resolutiva ou
demandista, conforme diretriz fixada na Carta de Brasília do CNMP. A relevância e
contribuição deste estudo será permitir a compreensão crítica da atuação do Ministério Público
do Estado do Piauí quando de sua atuação na defesa de direitos sociais, coletivos e difusos,
notadamente como agência de accountability. O estudo foi realizado com suporte teórico no
neoinstitucionalismo. A pesquisa foi baseada no acervo bibliográfico, documental e software
de registro de dados da instituição Ministério Público do Estado do Piaui. Apresentou como
resultado que o Ministério Público do Estado do Piauí está em processo de mudança de
paradigma, embora ainda priorize a atuação judicial em detrimento de uma atuação resolutiva.
ABSTRACT:The present research proposed to identify the profile of the Public Prosecution Service of the
State of Piauí in its extrajudicial action, using the extraprocedural instruments provided for in
the legislation, in the period from 2015 to 2018, in order to verify whether its action is resolutive
or demanding, according to guideline established in the CNMP Charter of Brasilia. The
relevance and contribution of this study will be to allow a critical understanding of the
performance of the Public Prosecutor of the State of Piauí when acting in defense of social,
collective and diffuse rights, notably as an accountability agency. The study was carried out
with theoretical support in the neoinstitutionalism. The research was based on the bibliographic
collection, documentary and data recording software of the Public Prosecutor's Office of the
State of Piaui. He presented as a result that the Public Prosecution Service of the State of Piauí
is in the process of changing paradigm, although it still prioritizes the judicial action to the
detriment of a resolutive action.
