    O PROGRAMA JUSTIÇA ITINERANTE DO TRIBUNAL DE JUSTIÇA DO PIAUÍ E SUA CONTRIBUIÇÃO AO ACESSO À JUSTIÇA E PROMOÇÃO DA CIDADANIA

    RESUMO: Este estudo analisa o programa Justiça Itinerante, do Tribunal de Justiça do Piauí, implementado em 2004 Objetiva-se verificar de que forma o juízo itinerante tem auxiliado no processo de ampliação do acesso à justiça e promoção de cidadania, conforme previsto na Constituição Federal de 1988. O trabalho busca colaborar com a ideia de aproximação entre o Judiciário e a sociedade, tendo na Justiça Itinerante uma ferramenta que amplia o acesso à Justiça e contribui para consolidar o processo de cidadania. O resultado da análise demonstrou que a Justiça Itinerante do Piauí vem se consolidando e tem alcançado resultados na esfera judicial e extrajudicial, suprindo lacunas de diversas ordens. ABSTRACT: This study analyzes the Itinerant Justice program of the Piauí's Justice Court, implemented in 2004, in which it is verified how the itinerant court has aided in the process of expanding access to justice and promotion of citizenship, according to the provisions from the federal constitution of 1988. The work seeks to collaborate with the idea of approaching the judiciary and society, having in itinerant justice a tool that broadens access to justice and contributes to consolidate the process of citizenship. The result of the analysis showed that the Piauí's itinerant justice system has been consolidating and has achieved results in the judicial and extrajudicial sphere filling gaps of several orders.
