    REPRESENTAÇÕES SOCIAIS DA VELHICE LGBT: estudo comparativo entre universitários

    RESUMO: O idoso é a parcela da população cada vez mais representativa numericamente. A sexualidade vem sendo discutida nos últimos tempos como peça fundamental do envelhecimento ativo, porém quando se trata da sexualidade de idosos com um recorte específico, o público LGBT, que se entende os sujeitos que se identificam Lésbicas, Gays, Bissexuais, Travestis e Transexuais esse debate é permeado de estigmas e preconceitos. Neste sentido surgem alguns questionamentos como: o que pensam os estudantes universitários sobre a velhice LGBT? Esses idosos têm condições de levar uma vida tranqüila e segura? Em vista disso, objetivou-se verificar e comparar as representações sociais de três grupos de estudantes universitários dos cursos de direito, psicologia e pedagogia acerca do envelhecimento LGBT. A amostra foi composta por 300 estudantes universitários uma Instituição de Ensino Superior privada na cidade de Teresina-PI. Tratou-se de uma pesquisa comparativa, de caráter quanti-qualitativo e corte transversal. Com o intuito de conhecer o perfil dos participantes, foram aplicados questionários sociodemográficos. Para conhecer as representações sociais foram utilizados dois instrumentos: a Técnica de Associação Livre de Palavras (TALP), utilizando-se o método de análise fatorial de correspondência – AFC, através do software Tri Deux Mots e entrevistas semiestruturadas, em que as respostas foram transcritas e analisadas pelo software Iramuteq. Como resultados observou-se que emergiram representações em dois pólos antagônicos: por um lado, o direito que cada indivíduo tem em fazer suas escolhas sexuais independente da fase da vida que se encontram, por outro lado, o preconceito sofrido pelos LGBTs, agravando-se quando trata-se de pessoas idosas. Com esse estudo, espera-se contribuir para o desenvolvimento da temática, ainda pouco estudada e divulgada, para que assim haja uma maior compreensão dos novos arranjos da sociedade contemporânea, podendo desta forma contribuir para a implementação de políticas públicas que resguardam os idosos e principalmente do público LGBT. ABTRACT: The elderly are the portion of the population that is increasingly representative numerically. Sexuality has been discussed in recent times as a fundamental part of active aging, but when it comes to the sexuality of the elderly with a specific cut, the LGBT audience, which means those who identify themselves as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transvestite and Transsexual this debate is permeated with stigmas and prejudices. In this sense arise some questions such as: what do college students think about old age LGBT? Are these elderly people able to live a quiet and secure life? Therefore, the objective was to verify and compare the social representations of three groups of university students from the courses of law, psychology and pedagogy about LGBT aging. The sample was carried by 300 university students a Private Higher Education Institution in the city of Teresina-PI. It was a comparative research, of quantitative-qualitative character and transversal section. In order to know the profile of the participants, sociodemographic questionnaires were applied, to know the social representations were used the Free Words Association Technique, using the method of factorial analysis of correspondence - AFC being analyzed through software Tri Deux Mots and semi-structured interviews, in which the answers were transcribed and analyzed by Iramuteq software. As partial results it was observed that representations emerged in two antagonistic poles: on the one hand, the right that every individual has in making their sexual choices independent of the phase of life that are, on the other hand, the prejudice suffered by homosexuals, when it comes to the elderly. With this study, it is expected to contribute to the development of the theme, still little studied and disseminated, so that a better understanding of the new arrangements of contemporary society can be made, thus contributing to the implementation of public policies that protect the elderly and, above all, of the LGBT public.
